Are you looking for the BEST Vegan Vanilla Cake recipe made from scratch? Well, look no further because this classic vanilla cake recipe is moist, fluffy, and best of all EASY! This cake is layered & frosted with my favorite Vegan Chocolate Frosting.

As a kid, one of my favorite past times included going online and searching recipes. I loved seeing what other people came up with and trying out their recipes on my own. One of the first recipes I made during that time was for a basic vanilla cake. Even though ingredients have changed into more plant-friendly versions, this recipe I am about to share with you is surely memorable.


This Vegan Vanilla Cake recipe is:

It’s light, tender, and full of vanilla flavor. The buttery, moist texture makes it a great cake for all occasions. Don't worry, you will be using this ah-mazing vanilla cake recipe over and over again.

For this spiritual pit stop, I want to ask you, What are you resisting?⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ A question I ironically have been avoiding because I can see clear as day what I am delaying or avoiding, which is travel. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Specifically, jumping off the cliff and traveling overseas. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I've never traveled alone, on a plane, or to another country, so the thought of doing just that is a bit terrifying. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ As you can see from my own example is that resistance is BUILT from:⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 1. Fear of the Unknown⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 2. Self-Doubt⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 3. Other's Opinions⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 4. All & Any Other Limiting Beliefs⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ These things make it easy to push aside or not to pay attention to whatever it is that you are being pulled to do (Travel, quit a job, transition in any phase of your life) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Why? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It is the EASY thing to do. It's much easier for me to make up excuses onto why I can't or shouldn't do something rather than saying FUCK IT and doing it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ So, what are you resisting in your own life? Some Final Thoughts & Tips:

  • Oil-Free Option: If you want to skip out on the oil, you can easily replace it with applesauce. I will note, that the texture will be slightly different using this and the crust will be slightly more chewy. Still tastes AH-mazing tho.

  • What about Cupcakes? For creating cupcakes, all you have to do is cut the baking time in half, but make sure to check if it is done with a toothpick! (P.S. if you are using an oil-free method, the cake will cling onto the paper liners for life, so I recommend using a rubber or silicon mold).
